Jaffarabad named after Jaffar khan jamali lies in the South-East of the Pakistan’s province of Balochistan. Jaffarabad’s headquarters are at Dera Allah Yar. Formerly known as the Jhatpat subdivision, the region was part of the Jacobabad District until 1970 and part of the Sibi District until 1975. It became a district of its own in 1987. Jaffarabad District is sub-divided into three Tehsils. In the end of 15th century Jaffarabad was under of Lasharis. The main tribes of this district are Jamali and Khoso tribes.

Jaffarabad is very rich in nature. Landscapes of jaffarabad show how diverse is balochistan in terms of beauty. Jaffarabad is also very rich in agriculture. it provides many vegetables and fruits to balochistan’s food market. I recommend people should visit it in winters as weather is very moderate there in winters.
